Work Experience

Express Scripts - Strategy & Transformation Intern

May 2017 - Present

As a member of the Call Center Analytics team within the Strategy & Transformation organization, I undertook a project around understanding member satisfaction for different prescription drug plan designs. Utilizing my knowledge of SQL and data analysis, I queried million of call center data points in Microsoft SQL Server and Teradata. These metrics, combined with speech analytics, statistical significance tests, and data visualization in Tableau, allowed me to identify trends in customer behavior and variability across plan designs. I then recognized a $1.2 million savings opportunity through better benefits education and agent training. I communicated these findings to senior management as part of my final intern presentation.

To assist with shifting business needs, I also registered as a Pharmacy Technician and helped dispense prescription drugs in the backend pharmacy. This unique experience provided me with a more holistic perspective on the fulfillment process.
